Luke Haney – Owner
Hi there! I’m Luke Haney, a Kansas City local and dad to three fantastic kids. The world of fencing isn’t new to me. My grandfather ran a successful fence company, and my upbringing was marked by hands-on learning about home improvement and renovation from my father. These childhood experiences fueled my lifelong passion for home renovation and construction.
To sharpen my business acumen, I pursued a degree in Business Management from Missouri Western State University. I’ve committed myself to providing an uncomplicated and efficient fence buying and installation process while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
At Fence Direct, we wear two hats. First, we offer our own professional fence installation services to homeowners and businesses. Second, we act as a bridge, connecting customers nationwide with skilled fence installers who may otherwise find it challenging to compete with larger entities. This dual approach simplifies the process for both customers and installers, setting Fence Direct apart in the fencing industry.
Derek Fricke – Owner
Hi, I’m Derek Fricke. I’m a Mid-America based dad of three with a lifelong exposure to the construction industry. My experience traces back to my youth, assisting my father with diverse home improvement projects. This foundation led me to establish a successful home renovation business over the past 16 years, with a special interest in fencing.
Fence Direct, the company I co-founded, not only installs top-tier fences for both residential and commercial clients in the Kansas City area, but we also serve as a nationwide platform. Our aim is to bridge the gap between home and business owners looking for quality fence solutions and skilled fence installers struggling to compete against big corporations. We believe this approach enhances the customer experience and ensures a high-quality finish.
My understanding of the business landscape is reinforced by my studies in Business Management at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO.
